I was worried about booking this hotel by some reviews that said it could be cold. Arriving in weather of minus 18 (centigrade) didn't lessen that worry, but on arriving, everything warmed up. True, it isn't an easy entrance foyer, slightly baffling, but lighting is soft, reception is comforting, and the rooms are very pleasant. Modern, but not lacking the carpeting that lessens the deadness you get with some hotels. Plus - THE BEDS - honestly, the most gorgeous I have ever slept in.
Plus, I do want to mention the fabulous restaurant which was sadly under-patronised during our stay but was honestly great food and staff, and should be revered more. Bar staff can be hit and miss, not understanding the full cocktail menu, but you can forgive that when there is so much more to enjoy.
